Dean Foust

As an executive coach, communications leader for a Fortune 50 company, and top business journalist, Dean Foust knows what it takes to become a persuasive leader. As a writer, editor, and bureau chief for BusinessWeek magazine, Dean interviewed hundreds of iconic CEOs, management gurus, and government leaders including two U.S. Presidents, Peter Drucker, Warren Buffett, Alan Greenspan, Colin Powell, Fred Smith, Ross Perot, and Jim Collins.

Dean put this knowledge to practice as Director of Executive Communications for UPS; as Head of Strategic Communications for a European management consultancy; and now as an independent speechwriter, coach, and consultant.

He has coached CEOs and executives who appeared on CNN, CNBC, and Euronews; were quoted in The New York Times, and were published in and by The Financial Times, Harvard Business Review, and World Economic Forum.

Dean himself made upwards of 200 TV and radio appearances on networks including CNN, CNN International, BBC World News, BBC TV, CNBC Squawk Box, MSNBC, C-Span, Fox Business News, PBS News Hour with Jim Lehrer, and was a regular on PBS’s This Week in Business roundtable discussion show. He is based in Atlanta.
